Sprouts playing Innocent children come into the world infected with HIV through no fault of their own. Their parents, possibly long-infected, are sickly or even deceased. Under ordinary circumstances, hope would be very far away from them.
Thanks to the amazing work of the Little Sprouts program, hundreds of Cambodian children infected with HIV/AIDS have hope. In south Asia, children often start school late and struggle to learn. It’s very difficult for them to learn to read because of all the classes they’ve missed. Supper time! Education is a luxury in Cambodia, where years of war and internal strife have taken their toll. The strain on families in the south Asian nation is sometimes too great to bear without help. A significant part of that help comes from Maryknoll Missioners. Maryknollers and their partners work together to help struggling families rebuild their lives in Cambodia and all around the world. You can make a huge difference in the lives of precious children! Give them love, joy, hope! | Maryknoll Sister Regina Pellicore teaches young children in Cambodia. |
Learn more about Cambodia from its own children by visiting PictureMyWorld, sponsored by CAFOD. Your online or mail contribution of $10, $25, $50, or $100 makes a difference. Anything you can share enables you and Maryknoll Missioners to reach more young minds in Cambodia and around the world. Through the Little Sprouts program, Maryknollers reach these young minds. Please donate today. Your support means these children will see the inside of a classroom. Above all, they will receive your love and the gift of hope! |
