All these things are possible with a planned gift to the Maryknoll Sisters.  With thoughtful estate planning, you may be able to make a much bigger difference in our world than you imagine.

Real Example

Mary Pat was considering adding a bequest to the Maryknoll Sisters to her will, with the residue of her estate passing to her children. But she learned that the assets she leaves her children could face double taxation. So she changed her plan and named the Maryknoll Sisters of St. Dominic as beneficiary of her profit-sharing account. This way, the death benefit passing to Maryknoll will not only qualify for the estate tax charitable deduction, but will also pass free of any income tax obligation. Her children will benefit from this change since they will receive other assets of her estate that are free of income taxes.

Case Studies are composites of Maryknoll Donors. The names and images are fictional but the cases use real data and situations.
